Before 2020 Panning Goals

Who would have known loosing two eyeshadow palettes through brutal expiration within two days would get these many wheels turning in my head. It feels like I've re-evaluated everything the past couple of weeks. I've dissected my makeup collection about a thousand times and I am terrified to have anything else expire on me before I've used it up. That's why I've updated my panning goals for the rest of the year. The ones I had before weren't very precise so I gave them quite a makeover.

These are my goals for the rest of the year:
  1. Finally make my collection cruelty free.
This was my goal for 2018, but it didn't go as planned. A friend was about to throw away her nude palette just as I was going to purchase a new one and my low-waste heart just couldn't take it. I decided to pan it and add half a year to my cruelty free goal date. Unfortunately, this also meant that I started neglecting my Essie nail polish because "I have time, y'know." and then the same friend decluttered some sun screen to me that's not cruelty free. So in other words, I have work to do. By 2020 I want my collection to be 100% cruelty free.
  2. Pan my London Copyright Playhouse palette.
This palette is now the only colourful palette I have left in my collection. The reason I want to pan it is because I love it and don't want it to go to waste. I also have my eyes set on the BeautyBay EYN 42 Bright palette and once I get that one I will no longer need the Playhouse palette. Simple as that.
  3. Use up all my skincare and only repurchase the products that work for me and I see a difference with.
This basically means, pan everything and only repurchase The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid, Caffeine Solution, Retinoid and Oil as well as a good moisturizer/sun screen.
  4. Make my beauty stash as low waste as I can.
This basically means that I'm planning on using up all my liquid shower gels, hand soaps etc and opt for soap bars and other package free solutions. Hopefully not rocket science.
  5. Use up my Body Shop Strawberry Body Mist and purchase a scent I love and don't feel the need to use up.
I've done really well with using up my perfumes and all that's left is this one big bottle of body mist that feels way too young for my liking.
These goals feel achievable and I will actively be working towards them for the next five and a half months. Wish me luck and tell me about your goals in the comments!
