A Makeup Challenge for Disney Lovers! #villainousjune

If you follow me on Instagram you know that I usually create monthly makeup challenges. I've been making them for more than six months now so it's kinda become my "thing" now. They are so much fun to make and seeing how much other people love them really warms my heart.

This summer is special though! I've got three Disney themed ones coming your way. We're kicking off with Villainous June and then you'll get Heroic July and Sidekick August. I've been planning them for what it feels like ages now and I'm so happy I can finally unleash them into cyberspace.

The reason I'm posting this on my blog today is because 1. I want my blog readers, who don't follow me on Instagram to be able to join in too and 2. I wanted to give everyone a deeper dive into my thought process.

I'm SO EXCITED for these challenges and I hope you'll have as much fun as I'll have!

These are the prompts for Villainous June:

1. The Huntsman - Pick a target product to focus on this month and maybe even set a goal. This one is quite self explanatory. The Huntsman is a hunter and we're picking our target.
   
   
2. Governor Ratcliffe - Share a look you are proud of and leave a few compliments on other people's #villainousjune posts in return. Gov Ratcliffe is all about that fame and glory so I thought it'd be fitting for us to get some on the day dedicated to his absolute awfulness.
   
   
3. Maleficent - A product that is practically magic. She's an evil fairy so today's all about black magic.
   
   
4. Yzma - Your favourite lashes. I feel this one is quite self explanatory too. Hopefully your favourite lashes look a bit better than Yzma's. (Sorry Yzma)
   
   
5. Frollo - A look as dark as Frollo’s heart and soul. Frollo is by far the most disgusting Disney villain in my opinion. There are people out there who actually share his beliefs and that is what makes my heart break a thousand times over.
   
   
6. Edgar Balthazar  - A product that turned on you and no longer performs as it used to. I mean, the dude catnapped the cats he used to care for. That's a serious malfunction of a butler.
   
   
7. Anastasia Tremaine - Products you’re conflicted about. If you've seen the Cinderella sequel, you know that Anastasia has some conflicted feelings towards Cinderella and that is what I was basing this prompt on.
   
   
8. Tamatoa - Use highlighter to make yourself SHINY! Because this.
   
9. Queen Narissa - A multi-use product. Queen Narissa is based on The Evil Queen, Maleficent and Lady Tremaine so she's definitely multi-purpose.
   
   
10. Ratigan - Keep your face calm and treat your skin today. He's calm as long as you don't mention he's a rat...
    
    
11. Gaston - Rock a red lip today. Because he sure rocks his red outfit.
    
    
12. Mother Gothel - Favourite anti-aging products. If you're as obsessed with youth as Gothel, I want to know all of your secrets!
    
    
13. Hans - Products you thought you'd love, but turned out to be awful. Self explanatory. He's a butt.
    
    
14. Shan Yu - Rock some powerful eyebrows today. Shan Yu wouldn't have scared the living shit out of me as a child if he hadn't had those eyebrows.
    
    
15. Cruella - Your favourite cruelty free products. Let's do the opposite of Cruella today, eh?
    
    
16. Lady Tremaine - A replacement product that was better than the one you used to use. This lady is all about social climbing so I thought we could turn that into some kind of product climbing for day 16.
    
    
17. Hades - A blue look. A blue look, but maybe skip the fire?
    
    
18. Clayton - Been spending too much money? Remove the triggers today. Clayton is a very trigger happy fellow, who shoots anything and everything that moves. Day 18 is about different kinds of triggers. Reflect over what makes you spend money on unnecessary things and try to eliminate those triggers from your life. Unsubscribe from newsletters, don't walk into the store without a list, etc.
    
    
19. Jafar - Update the wishlist and only keep the real jewels on the list. He's all about the wishes and riches, isn't he. Well, update your wishes and only keep the jewels!
    
    
20. Shere Khan - Feel proud and confident in an orange look. Maybe we'll feel proud and confident if we rock the same colours as the most proud and confident Disney villain.
    
    
21. Prince John - Products you wish were stronger/more pigmented. I think we all can agree that Prince John is quite weak and needs more pigment if he wants to succeed.
    
    
22. Kaa - Products you can't get enough of. He's like me; constantly hungry.
    
    
23. Queen of Hearts - Include hearts in today's look. Self explanatory, once again.
    
    
24. Sir Hiss - Favourite lip glosses. Sir Hiss is slimy and sticky, just like lip gloss!
    
    
25. Sheriff of Nottingham - Update your inventory and reflect over your collection. He sure likes to collect them taxes and I'm sure he takes inventory very regularly.
    
    
26. Evil Queen - A look that shows off your natural beauty. She's the second fairest in the world even without any makeup. You're probably the absolute fairest. Or lets say the third fairest so you don't have to deal with this crazy person.
    
    
27. Doctor Facilier - Favourite shading tools and products. He's the king of shadows after all.
    
    
28. Drizella Tremaine - Clean those nasty brushes today. Drizella is the nasty sister, let's not have nasty brushes.
    
    
29. Ursula - A fabulous, purple look. Ursula is based on drag queens in case you didn't know, and we should all fuel that fabulousness every once in a while.
    
    
30. Captain Hook - Give an update on your focus product. Where you destined to fail or did you succeed with your evil plans for once? Hook might be destined to fail in all of his quests, but let's hope you're successful in yours.
