My Secret Panning Strategies PART 2: Finding the Pan
If you haven't read part one of this two part series I suggest you do that first. This post is based on the previous one (mild shock since this is a part two, right?).
Now you know how I've set up my panning products so that I know what to pan. Now the question is, how do I hit pan? It's relatively simple. I use my products as much as I can. The basket with my everyday makeup is always first priority. I try to use as many products from that basket every day. There's everything I need in it for a simple makeup look that's easy to do for the days I wake up early to go to a lecture and most definitely will prioritize sleep above an elaborate makeup look. I wear this look at least once a week. Whenever I want to do something a bit extra I look in the panning basket and see if there is anything there I could possibly use, if there isn't then I go on an adventure into the rest of my collection.
You might have noticed that there isn't a highlighter in my "every day" basket. That is because I have an eyeshadow in one of my #panthatpalette:s that I can use as one. My biggest "secret" when it comes to panning is to try to find multiple uses for as many products as you can. If you have a shade in your #panthatpalette that works great in your brows, do it. If you have an eyeshadow you can use as blush or bronzer, do it. Make it as easy as possible for you to hit pan and use it up. There is no need for you to only use it for its advertised purpose. Especially not if it is a powder product. I've used brow palettes as eyeshadow palettes, eyeshadow as bronzer, blush and highlighter. I've tried almost everything. There is no reason why I wouldn't. If I have an item I want out of my collection, I will experiment with it. If something works, great! If it doesn't work, at least I tried. It is all about choosing products to focus on and trying to use them in as many ways as you can.
My biggest secret is probably this. A lot of the days I use makeup, I actually do my makeup more than once. If I've been to uni before noon, I take my makeup off and do whatever look I'm posting on instagram after lunch. This means that I use 100% more makeup these days than most people. I do compensate by not wearing any makeup at all a couple of days every week, though. My skin would hate me otherwise.
These are my main strategies for hitting pan and using up my products. Hopefully, you got inspired by this two part series or at least enjoyed reading it. Please leave your best panning tips and tricks in the comments. I'd love to hear from you!

I do not have a lot of new tips, but i have been making sure i reapply my lipstick even after dinner. I also have a high shine lipstick that i blot some translucent powder over to make it more 'matte'. I love matte lipsticks and this way they become more matte.
